Just seen an interesting piece in the YEP not read it all just got up ,but apparently Neil Back said Sinfield was about the move over to Carnegie as far back as 2009 GH has categorically denied this .

Sinfield said himself he came close to moving to Union back then. Didn't think there was any secret about it.

Probably testing the water too see what value contract he could get to aid his contract negotiations with us. If this is the case, it seems sensible and better, for us at least, than his agent sounding out other SL clubs

And he was only 29 at the time if he was going to switch surely it wouldn't be to Leeds Carnegie or whatever they called themselves then

I like the chant certain other clubs have for this 'Sir Kev' bloke....

If he plays tonight it will be Sinfields 518th appearance according to the club website ,which will put him level with John Atkinson in 3rd place .Another fine achievement

And if we lose tonight their's a good chance we end up outside the top 2 and this will be Sinfield and Peacock's last Rhinos game ever at Headingley.

Even if we lose tonight, take the opportunity to appreciate them.

Prophetic words!!! Gosh i never thought of that. As you say that could be the last time we see them playing at home. What a sad way for it to end for the two of them...not forgetting Kylie too
