I think he will go very well for Saints but for that sort of money

He was great, some puzzling replies on here.

His defense is good, his positioning is rock solid. He will also be our fastest player by some distance, he made Lomax look incredibly pedestrian tonight. He is another with absolutely no pace at all.

Shenton's attacking lines were also pretty impressive and he has a good step on him. I'm sure he'll do well for us provided we are strong enough generally.

I thought he did pretty well to be honest, i was quite impressed with him. He also showed a bit of pace to catch Lomax, he'll do well with us.

I think 'pedestrian' is a slight exaggeration! Lomax went limping off towards the end of the match and has significant strapping on his thigh. Lomax can run faster than that although he is more of a sprinter than a long haul runner.

I thought Shenton did alright. It was nice to see a player without an ounce of spare fat on him. Our lot have all developed bellies this season. However, I can't say I was watching Shenton too closely because I was trying not to get too frustrated with Saints!
