It'll be interesting to see where Royce plays him, especially as he goes out of his way in that interview to stress that he's happy to play anywhere. If Meli's injury keeps him out then I suspect he'll go straight into the centre position, with Kyle keeping the full back spot. Whatever happens, I'd be inclined to keep Gaskell at stand off for the rest of the season, as he's our only player with a genuine kicking game.

Pryce's kicking game is better than people give him credit for, and Gaskell's is not as fabulous as people give him credit for.

I'm pretty sure they'll avoid giving him kicking duties for a month or so, you would think?

I think Gaskell is much more precise with the boot than Leon, who has always struck me as a bit of a hoof-and-hoper.

Pryce doesn't have long to get up to speed with Lomax - he should be in at 6 from the get-go.

No offence to Gaskell, but Pryce is a good 5 classes above Lee and we need him blended into the halves come the business end.

I think we need to watch how we handle pryce's comeback as we can't afford to lose him again.

I'd out leon on the bench as our outside bench spot. Id ease him in the best I could as Leon might be the player to change our season around.

I agree, although he only lasted three minutes last time so if he makes it to halftime this time then there is a chance his bits are going to stay in place. Mind you, he had to get through his conditioning test first before even being allowed on the pitch and we don't yet know whether that's been successful.

But if he is playing - and I really hope he is - I would guess he will cover Meli's centre spot. He should be able to keep Foster in line. Foster has been very good this season but over the last two matches his concentration hasn't been the best. He needs a boot up the backside, and I suspect Leon would give him that!

Somehow, though, especially after Clough only lasting half an hour at best, I just can't imagine us actually getting one of our long termers back again!

I agree what you say about jamie. I've noticed for a while he's losing concentration during games. I think he needs bringing down a peg or two
