Walker is certain to miss out for me. So by my reckoning that leaves Gardner or Wheeler to come in for Wellens with the other missing out.
Several combinations of Makinson, Lomax, Wheeler, Wilkin all possible, with the rumour of Jones to 2nd row also knocking about. Anything could happen, but if rumours are true then we could see this:

Greenwood

I'd like to see Gardner play, because he always gives it his all and brings the ball back strongly but can't see Brown playing. To be fair, there are a few variations of what our team could be.

For me Wheeler does have the talent, he just needs to put a run of games together to justify keeping hold of him.

Seems that the general concensus on here is that Lomax lacks the ball handling and organisational skills required to play scrum half.
Yet some are now touting Wheeler for the position, when I've always thought the weakest part of his game is his ball handling and organisational skills.

To be fair, he hasn't consistently had the chance shown to show it. Only played 43 games in 4 seasons. |

Wheeler showed what he was capable of against the Wigoons away a few seasons ago, if only we can get a full injury free season out of him things would greatly improve........but its very unlikely he can survive more than 4 consecutive games. |
