I honestly think the crowds would increase with a move back to the traditional late 90's, early 00's kick off time.

Just my opinion - But I hope Mr Caisley implements the change.

What was the reasoning for changing it?

Also can someone confirm when we moved from Sunday 6pm to Sunday 3pm?

I guess it makes it less appealing for away support for people with young families at 6pm. It would suit me better though, especially once the nicer weather arrives.

6pm Sunday and I would struggle to go. They will lose a supporter, if the current farce does not achieve that anyway.
