How true it all is I don’t know but Rugby League ITK on Twitter reports we have signed Ukuuma Taai

That twitter handle seems to get quite a lot right. Lets hope this is true.

Thats just the sort of signing to get people excited and just the type of player we need.

WOW! what a great late xmas pressie this would be for us fans. Could tear defences up at our level. People at Hudds only have good things to say about him. Hope this is true and would give us a formidable pack for 2021.

If Ukuma has signed for you then it will be a fantastic addition to your team. I for one am sad to see him leave the Giants as he has been a great club and team man for 10 years. He will be a great mentor for your younger players and a fantastic example to all his team mates. Ukuma is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet and along with his wife and kids are a wonderful family and he is a real family man. I wish him and his family all the best in the future.

What a signing that would be, wouldn’t be many better packs in the championship that’s for sure brough and lilley would have a field day, fingers crossed this is true

Teams in the Championship are beefing up their packs. Moors to Fev and Casty to Toulouse. We could do with getting Taai signed up if he is still available.

Kear confirmed on the radio today we cant afford Taai or Olbison and that neither will be joining.

But u could atleast offer our best. Dont give up. Otherwise we'll b easy beats

Must say I disagree with the sentiments that we are easy beats

I must admit its been that long since we've played I struggle to have a real feel about the quality of our existing squad. Surely there or thereabouts for the top 6, but beyond that I wouldn't have a clue.

Shame about Taai. I thought he would not be too expensive considering his age and the fact that he has no club. Would have been a great addition and maybe have given a boost to season ticket sales. But if Kear says we can't afford him then that is the correct decision, simple as that.

There’s gunna be a lot of things affecting the position... 6 again no scrums makes it a faster game I think we have a good squad for that... some others don’t
