Bit of banana skin this. Widnes seem to be in absolute turmoil at the minute. Struggling for form and players, with no incomings but plenty of outgoings. They could be spirited, backs against the wall effort, or a team who's morale is on the floor and we put them to the sword

They put on a great effort against Toulouse, the danger for us is with how easy Keighley were, we try and score off every play and don't get in the grind. Go set for set, and I think we'll have too much quality do them.

I think this is trickier than people think. That response to Kear getting sacked against Toulouse was definitely a step in the right direction for them. Playing teams that have just sacked a coach is always tough. Also, we have Baldwinson out, England starts his 2 game ban and no Thompson now.

I hope Baitieri gets to make his long awaited debut as we need forwards and I guess it remains to be seen whether Holmes is fit to come back in, but Wynne did very well at the weekend if he isn't fit.

This is a typical game where previos Bulls teams would underestimate the opposition and come away with our backsides slapped. I'm confident we will see a much better Widnes side than recent form might suggest.

Not helped by it being on a Monday evening and the other side of the pennines for our PT players. I've no doubt it will be another very tough test.

I'd give Holmes another game rather than risk him. Same side as Sunday except for Appo starting at loose forward and Foster and Baltieri on the bench, if he's fit. If not give Turgit a run out.
