Quote Chris Dalton="Chris Dalton"People were saying this before the last license process and were written off as bitter. They're here and there is no point looking jealously in their direction, you promised a stadium and you've not delivered one nor delivered a strong undroppable license bid IMHO. You've been through admin which is what was used to justify keeping my club out last time and so you can't be surprised you will be favourites for the drop. You've not made the rfl's decision hard enough although there may be a few twists in the tale we don't know about as none of the fans on here have got the full picture.'"
I never thought Widnes were bitter because it was clear to me that you deserved to be in ahead of Crusaders.
The stadium that we promised still will happen once it gets through public enquiry and we will also improve Belle Vue to make it a B grade stadium which would put it on a par with Odsal and Craven Park.
Our licence bid is better than people make out, we have been graded an A for junior development and an A for community. Our commercial department is also one of the better ones in the league and we have also stated on several occasions that we will spend to the full cap if we remain in Super League.
As for administration that is true but lets face it Crusaders have also been in administration so that shouldn't be counted against us more than it is them.
