No doubt a controversial subject this. Personally, hes been here a few years now and if he feels he wants to represent the country then fair play to him. Not a position we are weak in though.

But fair play to him. Only chance to play international rugby, is to get into the England squad, and that's how weak the England management is. We'll never get anywhere.

Speaking from a Cas perspective, this would be embarrassing. It was ridiculous when Chase got in while he was playing for us, and this would be even worse. Carney is a good player, but not good enough for his country so shouldn't be good enough for England.

We should introduce an overseas quota for the national team.

Doubt he'd even make the squad. Maybe he should dig out an American relative instead if he wants to play for an international team.

Don't see why people still have the problem with people from other countries representing England. Australia an NZ have been doing it for years.

Anyone who's good enough to play for England and qualifies to do so on whatever grounds that is, should get picked no matter what. It's sport - winning is the aim.

Justin Carney though? Good player, probably not good enough to get in the England team. Now if it was Grant Millington who threw his hat into the ring...

Yep, completely agree. Millington is the type of player the Sky pundits would be salivating over if he was British.
