Why would an average Aussie know Blackpool Tower, Bruce Forsyth or Yorkshire Pudding?
If you reversed the situation English players would probably do worse.

I'm pretty sure most half intelligent Brits would recognise Sydney harbour bridge,Ayers rock/Uluru Vegemite and dame Edna if it came to it?

I go to Australia frequently so there ain't much I wouldn't recognise over there.

There's the Big Pineapple, the Big Lobster, Big Banana, Big Prawn, Big Ned Kelly, etc.

I wonder how many Australians actually know much of their own history..not just the last 50 years.
I bet if you asked every one of the players of all three teams whom Keith Miller was you'd get a blank stare from all but 1 or 2. Not just a great Queensland sporting icon but one of the great Australian cricketers ever.
