do you prefer both teams coming out together as it is now, or they way it used to be with generally the home team coming out last?

The latter. What they are doing now just doesn't suit rugby league.

You don't get a good opportunity for a good old boo or cheer.

In the old days at Widnes one used to be able to spit on the opposition players as they went up the cage covered tunnel. A special treat when there was a sending off. Ah, those were the days. All this flag waving drivel - hardly progress is it?

They need to come out separate, I don't like all this puffball ceremonial, boring standing in lines they are doing at the moment with that massive super league flag that contributes nothing.
Lets generate a bit of excitement rather than watching men have children guide them to the pitch as if they don't know where it is.

It does seem to dissipate some of the atmosphere that's built up. I especially don't like it at the Grand Final. I loved the energy and atmosphere that was generated at OT with the players coming out and running straight to get ready for kick off and getting on with it.

thank god for this thread , atmosphere ruined by coming out together and loud music drowning out the crowd , who ever decided this has never had a tingle down their spine .

It was an ex rugby union man that came up with the idea, so he will not have heard an atmosphere at a union club match. The clubs were even told what music they had to play!

It was great at the old Odsal. Players walking down the terraces from the old changing rooms through the crowd, stinking of sweat, beer & fags.

i prefer the NFL style of players entering the field, then you get to boo each and every one of them lol

You certainly lose some of the drama when the teams come through the tunnel together.
The old way of having the away team come out first and then home team to rapturous applause & cheering has to be better.

Maybe coming out together is ok for cup finals but, not for the regular season games.
