I cannot see Wane having Aussies in our squad. We know what Wane is about. He cant deliver a team talk of smashing the Aussies with several Aussies in your team!

Shaun Wane was made for one off high pressure must win matches. We made a final every year under him. He turned average players into great players. All the lads would run through Brick walls for him. I appreciate Wigans aggressive style got under peoples skins but at an international level that is exactly what we need.

It wasn’t mate, I loved it and I will love watching his England teams. I don’t sit there and think of the trophies we won and the finals we played and go off only they’d been more entertaining’. His Wigan team of 2012 contained the best attacking talent he’d ever had and it was a joy to watch, yet we didn’t win anything. It proved what he can do with top level attacking talent though.

When the crunch comes and the big games come round you know what you’ll get from a Shaun Wane team.
