| Looks like it's still 5. After posting last night I've done some checking - as far as our club is concerned it's 5 out-and-out quota spots. At the beginning of 2010 the RFL stated this would fall to 4 at the start of the 2012 season (hence Wigan signing Hoffman one a one-year deal) but this has since been revised.
Unless of course you are HKR, in which case you are allowed to sign 17 quota players.
So you could sign Chase (despite him signing a new contact with Cas to 2015  ). |

The Hoffman deal was done on the basis that he would return to the Storm in 2012. |

If Warrington want Chase they can have him, for the right money, is it 500k is asking price?
Just think what a club like Cas could do with that kind of money. |

Possible contender for Albert Goldthorpe Medal and Man of Steel, over rated, whatever, you obviously haven't watched him this season.
Next you will be saying that Sam Tomkins is over rated. |
