My god that was dire two poor teams but some of Leighs players are
well below the standard we need to make a impact in this Div
Armistead lumbers up like a player from the 60,s most of the forwards
are lightweight and cant break a tackle Donlan at 6 is poor Rudd second row never in a million years we are gonna have to sign some serious artillery for next season because with this team as it stands is to lightweight does,nt pack a punch in both forwards & backline
if we cant beat teams like Fev i give up defo this Leigh team at present is one of the worst in recent years I hope that Joe Williams guy arrives soon so that Donlan can get back on the wing

Donlan has got to go to fullback as soon as the Aussie comes over. Mort was poor again (granted the team as a whole was) what was he doing leaving that kick to go past him anyone could see it wasn't going dead before they would catch up, also no real running it back when he collects it from a kick!!

Exciting game to watch though, anyone see Leyther Matt lose half a pint when Morrison scored

dont mind a light weight pack as long as its used in the proper way...... multiple choice runners in attack instead of one man runs and obvious passes.

2/3 men in the tackle but for god sake make sure at least one goes below the rib cage.

Not only lightweight up front but take Watson out of that side and we have
a backline thats one of the poorest ive seen in years Nanyn did,nt look to bad at times but the team has no penetration in going forward and when we did get back in the game late second half indisipline from our best player Watto cost us he tried to milk a penalty and it backfired
Blimey the gulf in class from the SL is massive to say the least
We are in dire need of a good stand off and two big forwards to punch up
players like Stewart Maden are past it Stanton who some Leigh fans rave about but hardly ever beats a man we have Donlan who should be on the wing the mix of the team is all wrong like i said we should be beating teams like Fev home n away and they have beaten us three times so far this season with non spectacular rugby it makes me very sad to say but unless things are changed pretty soon and fresh blood brought in we are goosed this season

We `re in a period of transition..... I`ll be happy in all honesty to avoid the bottom 2 and then build for next year with another years experience for some of our players...... ps get MN on board he`s a star at this level.

Thought Nanyn had a good game, second try did really well to get through and great hands to get the ball to Maden for the 1st try!

your right we should have beaten them but we had such a poor start i was tearing my hair out knowing we ARE better than that. As for Watto milking it never that was a penalty in anyones book .Dont think they used Stantons speed either thought a kick at the end for him to chase would have been a better option but ifs and maybes are no good .Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I am pig sick but i think Nanyn' s signing is a big plus 2 tries on 1st outing you cant ask for much more than that .

I agree Nanyn play well tonite and would be a massive improvement in what we have at present
