from what i been told the guy on the microphonne intoroducing the teams/interchanges was enticing the croud by slaggin the ref off during the game over the tannoy system

Think it was of the Limoux players and their fans upset about the result and on the pitch attempting to lynch our players and especially Warren Turley

I think it is probably a reference to a fan getting in the referees face after the game. Whatever the match presenter was saying would obviously have been in French and as I was not there acting as official interpreter I doubt 'although I could be wrong' that AR would have known what he actually was saying.

Lynching the players ? I doubt that too. They don't do that sort of thing in France they use guillotines don't they ?

So where were the Stewards then?

The club had it translated what the guy over the PA system was saying so they are aware of it and as AR has said looks like its being reported and probably the general behaviour of the French.

Its a pity they didnt show that sort of aggression when the Germans waltzed in, in 1939
