I've just read that Rhys Williams and Tyke McCarthy are being released by Warrington at the end of the season.
Williams would certainly bolster the options in the back line. Impressive strike rate when's he's played at Warrington.

I'm not one to knock players from my own club but steer well clear of Williams! Good enough in attack but his defence is nothing short of embarrassing.

He and his brother have both got great potential, but seem to have had more than their fair share of injuries.
Williams is probably best known for scoring against the Aussies at Wrexham in 2011 when for half an hour or so they had the Kangaroos worried. |
