The Huddersfield RL Heritage Project is concerned with all things rugby in and around Huddersfield. This includes all present and past amateur clubs. Unfortunately, apart from a couple of clubs, most of the amateur fraternity seem somewhat disinterested.
I'm writing this not to knock those clubs, but to invite them - and people from clubs no longer in existence - to let us know of items and photos they would be willing to let us use and photograph.

I think it is more likely due to how stretched people are trying to keep clubs up and running and possibly that clubs quite often don't really have a great deal of old memorabilia or records to share.
which i suppose is why its important guy's like you get what you can now.
i will PM you some details of my local club of who might be the best person to speak to.
