I know it's easy to blame the coach as he's just 1 man but to me the players are letting him and the club down at the minute.
There just seems to be a really bad lack of effort being put in at times, especially defensively. Yesterday, like Wakefield, Catalans and Salford, we had a chance to kill the game off and once we were in front should have been busting a gut to keep hold of the 2 points but time after time we let the opposition more or less walk over our line after some pat-a-cake efforts at tackling.
Attacking wise too we seem to just stop trying to create and end up just chucking passes anywhere for the sake of it ....yes I know some will say it's the coaches job to motivate them but surely these players, who've all probed they're good players, have to take some of the flack for what's happening...our defence or lack of it is embarrassing at times !!.

Whom is responsible for getting the players approach right so they perform. Yes there have been unwelcome distractions (Ferres playing away and Robbo. Retiring) but there has been questionable management too. Does anyone think removing captaincy from Brough has worked ?

Nope he's seemed even more het up now the refs can tell him to not talk to them or else and Hinchy ain't a captain on what's happened so far.

I'm not going to re-write previous posts but just say there have been some shocking contracts handed out.

Where I work no sales equivalent to no victories at RL would lead to a visit to the job market, so what's different ??

As a manger the last refuge of the scoundrel is to blame the staff.

If the staff need motivation , motivate them.
If the staff need training, Train them.
If the staff need support, support them.

If staff need a rocket, give them one.
If the staff are not good enough. Replace them.

That is down to the coach and the management. Not the players.

Were you there yesterday Brearley ?? I was I did along with a lot of others and loyalty doesn't include blindness I even stopped to offer some of the team a lift when they were stood at a bus stop by the Xscape on my way to the game.

Turned out they were waiting for the team bus, Anderson was one of them strange preparation for such a big game !

Not really - if they live in that area- what's the point in coming all the way to hudds to go all the way back to Cas?????? I think that they got on the bus and arrived as a team together is better preparation than all arriving separately.

Should have met in Huddersfield and travelled together they represent Huddersfield and surely the three hours before kickoff are vital to mentally prepare and get input and the mindset right. Meet greet travel and walk not the ground with the right spirit and frame of mind they would have been on the bus less than ten minutes
