Given how quiet the site has been I will raise this now.

For the last X years the playing kit/replicas haven't been ready for the new season. One year it wasn't event ready for the players to wear.

Have the club booked it for 2016? or will it be ready for Jun 16. (I realise sponsorship plays a large part.)

I know this is a bit off the wall but, if we actually planned things out. We would have it all organised for a kit launch and meet the players in mid November, with plenty of stock to enable people to purchase Christmas presents. You could also flog season tickets. This would keep people on board during the off season as the new season would not be too many weeks off from starting.

We could alternate one year meet the players, the next year open day at the new venue

That's a knock on effect of the club not caring about the supporters......the supporters start to no care about the club.

Where to start?
We have about 125 members, of which at least 20% will not bother next year. A good number of "regular" fans on here have said they've had it too, so why have a seasons launch event that will be attended by 50 people at most. Then, why rush the "new" shirts out so you can shift 50 of them to fans for christmas, when it is cheaper to get sponsors logos printed into the fabric rather than iron on stickers like we had in 2013. As for keeping people on board? The club have made it obvious that fans aren't important and the move to a stadium (sic) with less than 1,000 seats shows that we don't matter.

And some wonder why this board is dying? Debate and conversation from opposing sides is good, regardless of whether you agree or not.

There was a thread aboutbthe Sheffield game for those who were there only. Its hardly what you call busy

It might also reflect that only a handful of the 'core 500' who actually go to games come on this forum. If the handful who posted on that thread truly represent those who were there, and more relevantly those that come on here and don't go to games, then that says a lot (and that is not a dig at you btw)
