Been looking out of the window at work all day and despite enjoying the cooler temperatures the rain has been persisting down all day. I don't know about you but I get very nervous when conditions aren't perfect, we make enough handling errors even then. I am now revising my thoughts for tonight from a close victory, based on repeating last Sunday's form, to a reasonably heavy defeat on the basis of wet conditions.

Fully agree we struggle to get the ball out wide as it is without making it ten times worse with the slippery conditions.

And we can hardly play the ''Grind a team down'' tactic seeing as theres more weight in Victoria Beckhams waste than our forward pack.

At the risk of sounding like Mr. Boring, we need to play the percentages for the first 20-25 mins of each half tonight.

No errors, nothing fancy and no stupid penalties. Get the basics right, especially in defence and they'll crack. Then we open up.

I honestly believe line speed will be the key tonight. We need to push up fast with the A, B and C defenders and work hard at marker. There needs to be somebody at Randall's throat every time he steps out of dummy half.

I'm hoping they haven't electrified the advert boards like most Premier League teams have in recent seasons. They are well annoying when watching on tv!
