We need a kicking game hence Sammut, Leuluai's a better 9 than Powell and sorry but Powell will offer nothing off the bench.
Might seem tough on Sarge especially considering that was probably Gildart's worst performance in a Wigan shirt but when he made that break in the second half if he'd looked to his left after the first two strides he could and should have put Marshall away.
Clubb/Naverette have been invisible and with Taylor missing for Hull seems like a good game for Kibula.

Still undecided about Powell or Tommy. I think what Powell offers in D is vastly underrated, might be only be visible when he's not there.

Both our centres are simply not good enough. I still don't know what all the hype is regarding Gildart. Our centres are clones of each other, both have a good step, have pace, but both are unable to put a winger away and neither can tackle for toffee.

Gildart is one of the best in the league at putting his winger away. He managed to put Davies in well yesterday

He'll need to put him away more than just once a game to make up for that pathetic, filthy defence he showed yesterday. He should be dropped and given the rounds of the kitchen he was so bad. Play Hankinson instead.

Sammut in at 7, Tommy at 9 and Powell/Escare on bench. Gildart needs to go back to the left imo and if that means Sarge is dropped then so be it, we shouldn't be re jigging our best centre because the mediocre one feels comfortable on the left

Agreed he was awful and I haven’t seen him play that bad ever before but shouldn’t be dropped for one bad performance. If that’s the case we’d nearly be in double digits of players dropped just this season

I think he should for the simple reason that we have a replacement. We need to send a message that such awful defence wont be tolerated, it was some of the worst one on one tackling ive ever seen and Tommy should also be given a rollicking. I can live with one bad tackle but one after the other like that is criminal.

Not sure which games you have watched or which centres that you liken him to but I have yet to see him play as a centre that has frequently worked in u is on with his winger.
