Highlight for me was seeing Korki and Bibey sprinting over the field to join in the celebrations after Brough's kick, great to see two big lads charging over like that to join in after what must have been such an energy sapping game.

How Blaymire didn't get man of the match simply amazed me, thought he was absolutely superb and head and shoulders above a good team effort.

I did think Wilkes played well, but also Korki had a good game.

I hope that the rapturous cheers could be heard in wakefield for the early leaving party

on the two occasions that they scored he was left alone to defend two players coming on to him not a thing you can do,
playing in that heat must have taken a lot out of them but that is not distracting away from some basic errors, passing was astray at times and dropped balls in areas that they should tighten up in,
wasn't a pretty game but then if you've come away with points you can forgive them quicker

whatever anyone thinks of grix he will make mistakes like any player but he took a awful pass from nr his bootlaces and finished superbly to put us in a position for danny brough to win us the game.

I always worry when Wakey have a week off. I would love to know the stats but I am sure we more often than not lose after a break, so it's a relief to get win here.

Now we can push on for that top 8 place.
