Proud to announce that Andrew has been appointed England Academy U19s Coach. As Andrew is a Wakefield lad, former Trinity player and Head Coach I'm sure everyone can feel a little bit proud of this.

I was at Keckie High school,early to mid 70s,he also played centre half in their football team,no damage there,I was too fast for him

No, he's still there, the England job will be done in tandem with his role at Huddersfield. It's just a great and well deserved award for his efforts in Junior development over the last 6 years or so.

Of course I'm a bit biased but he's the best man for the job and will be a superb influence on those who work with him.

I had the pleasure of hosting him as a speaker at the Ossett Academy Sports Awards evening a couple of weeks ago - he spoke really well and gave the students some significant food for thought about sport, achievement and how application can deliver unexpected results; as someone else has said, not bad for a Lupset lad!
