Smith really needs to pull his finger out now under the new coach, but this is bullcrop!!

Godinet was outstanding but Sammut on his best day is not as good as Smith.

I don't know how you can come to that conclusion we haven't exactly seen a lot of Sammut for some reason

What's the latest with Sammut? It was reported last week in the RL Express that Workington were interested in signing him. Is that correct or just another rumour?

I've seen him play before though.
Sammut is different to Smith so is an unfair comparison but of the two I'd choose Smith every time.

It all seems to be =#FF0000TOP SECRET nothing coming out of the the club regarding Sammut.

If Sammut is as good as some posters on here think how come he isn't in the team? not just one coach but successive coaches won't pick him - there has to be a reason!
He's an individual anyway and he wouldn't contribute as much to team play as Smith does - Smith has his faults but he is also our playmaker and a lot of the moves resulting in tries stem from Smith.

The suggestion is that his contract includes an appearance bonus which I presume we are no longer willing to pay hence he does not get selected.

Overheard a conversation today that the players don't want Sammut in the side as that's why he's not being selected. He's not moving on either as no other club wants him and has got a rep as a trouble causer. Make of that what you will.
