May be wrong, but did Big Dave make is first appearance for Trinity at Huddersfield in the Challenge cup game, scoring two trys? It would be fitting therefore if he could score two trys on Friday ending remarkable career in the British game.

No it was against Leeds on a horrible rainy night. He over tried and had a shocker!!

I thought it was against Leeds and he had a stinker, but that might have been his home debut. He certainly made an impact against Hudds in the Cup game.

Looks the strongest squad we have had in a while

To be honest looking at the squad for Huddersfield this will be our sternest test for quite a few games.

Only issue I can see is

Jowitt or Shaul

Does Hall move back to centre.

Could Jowitt play at 6 or 7?

Depends I suppose on whether WP is viewing this as 2 points try to win game- or - he treats it more as a chance to experiment. Coaches rarely tend to go with the latter.

It's not an option re Jowitt or Shaul.
Shaul has proved in his last few games that he is very poor under a high ball. Whilst his organising makes up for some of Miller's deficiencies, Jowitt's solidity at the back, excellent passing game and timing his incursions into the line make him a far superior full back. Now, if you want to play Shaul at SO, that's probably a good option.

Why would you do that?

Keep the fullback at fullback and the stand off at stand off.

And people say Willie makes weird decisions.
