How come it went back to Thorman after RW showed us all how it should be done and we scored straight after aswel.

We didnt need to use all our tackles just getting to the point on the pitch where it should of been kicked in the first place if thorman had done it ??????

Remember the good old days when we had to wait for Eastwood to cart his backside from the wing to take kicks, we practically had a comittee meeting about each one!

i thought berro did the the best took them quickly and give leeds no time to rest or reset ,and he kept the pressure on them ,he made a few yards aswell

Anyone but Thorman should kick for touch when we get a penalty. Why not Tickle?

This has long been a gripe of mine with FC.

I know that they get more practice in games (or more probably, practice in training) but union kickers make so much yardage when kicking to touch, whereas FC seem to manage no more than 10m if kicking from the centre of the pitch.

The ideal kick should be landing on then pitch side of the hoardings. They are set back far enough at the KC for there to be no risk of the kick being kept in play. If the kick is going into the stands, then that is wasted yardage.

Come on, Hull. It's hard enough gaining yards on the pitch, so don't waste the opportunity for free yards at penalties. Put the opposition on the back foot and give yourselves momentum.

This is somewhere that we really miss Danny Brough (yes, I know).

He would very often kick it in to the middle of next week unlike now where we're lucky to get 10 metres on.

Looked to me like whiting was sick of us making 10 metres so just grabbed the ball and kicked it quick before thorman could get near it

Should be the same for drop outs.

Exactly, whitings drop out at the magic weekend in 07 cleared 60 metres and even then it was caught on the full. Why he isn't allowed to take them and the penalties is beyond me!

It's been a problem for a few seasons now. It is also a waste of 2 to 3 plays just to get us to were we should be tapping the ball.
