Of course they can support a football team Look how many pathetic idiots who support FC also support Liverppol, Man Utd or some other club they have no connection with.Yet you don't see football fans going around supporting St Helens or Leeds because our 2 teams in Hull are rubbish. Guess it proves that Hull is a football city when so many rugby fans have to ahve a football club they supposedly support yet City fans don't feel the need adopt some more successful rugby league club they've no connection with.


Hutchie used to ahve something about Hull FC and Leeds United being the pride of Yorkshire. That soon disappeared. Now there is only 1 Premier League team in yorkshire and Hutch has to swallow the fact his adopted club is 2 divisions below.

I support city aswell, although i havnt been to a game this season due to been a fc pass holder so carnt afford a city pass aswell, but if you could walk up and pay on the day at city i would certainly go to a few games.

To call people who support or "follow" teams from outside Hull pathetic idiots is rather pompous. You tend to find most people support other teams because of influence of friends or family, not some deep seated hatred of anything from Hull.
I myself was born and raised on Greatfield, yet because my family supported Hull I supported Hull and not Rovers. Does that make me a pathetic idiot?

Not really into football as i find it a very boring game the majority of the time. No qualms with the people who follow city but the reason there is a bad attitude from a lot of fans towards the football team is because of those comments from Duffen about RL supporters.
I know he is no longer there but you know what we can be like




P.S If i do follow a football team it is West Ham due to all my family supporting Liverpool and the first game i saw was them V West Ham and having always been someone who likes to go against the grain i supported West Ham that day and it stuck, one thing i cannot be accused of is being a glory supporter
