I know its old ground but just been listening to radio humberside and Gwilliam lloydd is so biased its unreal.A hull fan text about a dobbins texter from friday night saying Hull played a saints reserve side.Gollom replied nobody did and stick to comments about your own side.100% fact because i heared it on my way home and gollom laughed saying i don't think thats from a hull fan.Also he can't bring himself to criticise his beloved dobbins all though the majority of texts from rovers fans did.He just said a win is a win yet when hull played wakefield he could'nt help but put hull down.One more thing he called Hulls friday victory controversial, in what way.

We just have to accept Gollum & most on Humberside are Dobbins, always have been biased always will be, I have no respect for them as so called commentators, their commentary is embarrassingly biased....just accept it...I will never forget the Cooke saga or indeed the Readon comments...Humberside = Joke!!

I heard that too and was waiting for an explanation, but nothing was forthcoming. I really can't understand why he's not taken to task. If I was unjust in my work, I would be disciplined. Incitement of hate I reckon

I also find it strange that when people send in a text and dont put a name to it he complains and says dont hide. Yet when his "sources" come up with info he is willing to keep them quiet too

Alternatively don't bother listening to him, he knows very little about rugby league so its not like you are going to learn anything.

He was also quite harsh to Tom Briscoe. The subject of the interview was nominally about him being selected for England, but he noticably focussed the questioning on him being dropped in the last series and went on about it for ages. I'm certain that if it had been Kris Welham in that position Lloyd would have approached it differently.

Mr B and I had a right laugh when we got back in the car on Friday night - the disappointment in Lloyd's voice was palpable. Just contrast with the commentary on Bradford v Rovers last season where Dobson scored a late drop goal to get just a point - his voice was literally shaking with excitement and he was shouting comments like "When people ask, you can say you were there when Dobson slotted the goal over", as if it was of cup-winnning importance. Lloyd is what he is, a Rovers fan, and pretty poor at disguising it. Craig Murdock is an FC fan and equally partisan. The issue for me is that the other people that get involved, ie Lee Richardson, Nick Pinkney and Chris Park are also all Rovers fans, which inevitably leads to completely unbalanced reporting. David Burns evidently doesn't give a monkeys about RL and leaves Lloyd to it, but he's failing as Sports Editor by doing so IMO.

Because when I listen to my local radio station, I do expect impartiality. Although I suspect I'm now listening just to see how quickly he winds me up
