Never!!! the game is becoming too sterile.....it will soon be too boring to watch, Too much structure and not enough flair now the want to take away the big hits from our big men...not a good move imo.

I don't have a problem with outlawing the shoulder charge, it can hardly be viewed as deskilling the game. At least it should remove what is now an uncertain and confusing element of the game. A defender should be looking t tackle his opponent, not simply make an attempt to stopping him by whatever means available.

Very disappointing, a part of our game that fans love.

Shoulder Charges open up the possibilities as to what can happen out there on a RL field, & is an aspect of the game which differentiates us from union.

A well-timed shoulder charge IS a skill IMO, that. A defender can change the flow of a game in an instant, force a knock-on, and knock the confidence out of the player they’ve hit whilst boosting their own team & fans.

I understand Cod’s point, as he’s looking at it from a referee’s perspective too, but as a spectator, I hope it stays in the game.

This is a rubbish decision. Nothing like a big shot to get everyone up, especially if the ball gets dislodged. Love the end of season NRL review and the bighits section, n half of them are shoulder charge shots. Been on oz sites and follow quite a few oz n kiwi players on Twitter and haven't seen a single comment in favour. In fact most players angry about it

ridiculous, lets sanatise the game like football and make it a non contact sport , whats next red tags hanging from shorts
