If the same qualifying criteria as 2015 we qualify for a world club challenge game at least after winning the challenge cup if we don't win the superleague trophy outright

We have secured a game, I spoke to a club official tonight. However, it's to early to say if it's gonna happen as it depends on the SMC and if they can secure the stadium at a decent rate

IF the SMC block such a prestigious game then some serious questions need asking.

But I am getting sick of playing second fiddle to the tiggers as far as the ground goes and today has proved further that we shouldn't have to.

While I can see the attraction I'm personally not too fussed about taking part. Not really competitive games with risk of injury just takes the attraction away for me. Although I can also see the benefits of taking part I don't think financially there'd be many,especially with the smc as they are.

Well, personally I would love it. Hull FC vs a top Australian team. It has great potential to entertain and test us. It would be the ultimate warm up to Super league. I think given it is our first one, it would draw a big crowd, which would give us a good financial boost. As for the SMC... they can stick their opinions.

City sale should go through this week, which will mean a change in SMC ownership? Could well do us a favour, once Shamallam's gone.

I agree, if we don't win the league then it will only be an exhibition game but the chance to watch an nrl team play would be great. Would like to think a big crowd would turn up even if just to see them, I'm thinking of dobbins fans here. It would be a great spectacle.
