I just got the email about renewal, our East stand membership has increased to £317 from £280 last year. From the noises at the club I had expected an increase and its above inflation.

I'm ok with that but still upset that a so called family club signed Jay Okunbur, add in another end of season capitulation and for the first time we are really considering if we should renew. I don't want to hurt the club financially but I don't think they get the message that in any kind of weather has its limits!

I make to be a 13% increase in the East Stand, which for me is at the top end of being acceptable.

I do have an issue with loop games, the 'free' games on the pass are often pointless like Hudds 2nd time this year but at least it seems the extra games will be Rovers and Leeds this time.

Pearson's words were "it would be nice to get the same membership numbers" so I think they have budgeted for less, which is maybe why they have increased the prices.

I think the increase is probably larger than previous increases due to the price freeze the club set following the lockdown.

Think it was going to be a struggle for the club to hit the same member numbers for 2024 based on the performances during 2023 and the almost inevitable capitulation in the last quarter of the season after the Wigan defeat. Its going to be an even tougher task with a 13% increase and the lack what fans would perceive as a genuine star/game changing player.

Hopefully now the membership info is coming out the club will pull a rabbit out the hat for the last quota signing.

There's a bit of pressure on side for the 2024 Season imo ,The team needs to get off to a decent start . A winning side brings many benefits .

Absolutely, if we get to Easter (which is early next year) and things arent going up a gear then negativity will creep in. Id also expect their to be an early derby as there will be 3 of them so that will add some pressure.

Just paid for my 2024 membership. For the South Stand it was £306, IIRC in 2023 it was £270.

As mentioned FC it's engrained in you. You can't stop it. You put so much effort in to supporting them for sometimes very little return. But that's what supporters do. Then we have our days in the sun and it's all worth while.Supporters eh
