At the same time that some teams have really progressed since last season (catalans, salford etc) we've gone backwards. If that game was played for another 80 minutes I don't honestly think we'd score a try.

Our attack in particular was so easy for Catalans to defend, there was no real impact to what we were trying to do. The effort was there from the players - can't fault that for a second but with the injuries etc our squad is carrying, this side we're putting out is just not good enough for us to be a Super League team

Well, I think I finally do. Hudgell and Crossland are great, we all know we would probably be a Blackpool Borough if it wasn't for them, but this is far as they can take us, and that is absolutely not a criticism. We would be dead withought them and I fundamentally do not want them to go. Let me state that. There is no Abramovich or Dubai connection out there for us, for now we've just got to suck it up.
